Ornate Garden Faux Watercolor

Hello friends, welcome back to day two of Ornate Gardens. I have been very busy playing with this suite of products and if there is one piece that I like more than the rest, it is the ornate die used as a mat on the card above. I love the Ornate Layer dies! I am not ashamed to admit that I am a girly-girl who likes pretty visuals.

Ornate Style Bundle

The Ornate Layer dies may be purchased separately, or save 10% when you purchase the bundle.

For this card I also used the large floral stamp in this bundle. I colored the stamp with Stampin' Up! stamp and write markers, spritzed the stamp with water, then stamped the wet stamp onto whisper white card stock. I love the watercolor effect this technique provides.

For those looking for a good reason to purchase this bundle, If you order thru my  Stampin' Up! online store, you will receive free from me, a tutorial of card designs to create using this set.  I have four volumes of designs totaling 90 card designs total.
  • If you order a stamp or die, you will receive Vol 1.
  • If you order a stamp and die bundle, you will receive Vol 1 & 2
  • If you order a bundle plus paper, ribbon, etc., you will receive Vol 1-3

Happy Birthday Bonanza Card

Hello friends! Today I am going to share a birthday card we created at my Stampin' Bingo Party earlier this month. I love this fun card! It just makes me happy to look at it. The colors are soothing, yet fun. The design is mostly simple, with enough pizzazz to be visually engaging.

I used the Birthday Bonanza stamp and die bundle to create the Kuala bear, pennants, packages and balloons. I also used the stitched die circles and stitched die rectangles to complete the card.

For more information on each of the products used, click on the image or name below to be taken to my Stampin' Up! on-line store.

Remember we are still enjoying Sale-A-Bration, where with each $50.00 in product you purchase, you can select a free item.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Product List

January Birthday Man Card

Hello friends! I am back with the final of my three birthday cards from my January Birthday Card class. I call this the January Man Card. For this card I used the Sailing Home stamp set, Come Sail Away designer series paper, Night of Navy and Whisper White card stock, and the coordinating twine.

I wanted this card to be easy to assemble, but not overly simple. I think the layers of card stock helped achieve that goal. I used the Stampin' Up Stamparatus to quickly create the stamped images. I affixed the stamps to the removable Stamparatus plates, so that the front of the card and the inside of the card could each be created in with one stamp each. The Stamparatus is wonderful for creating multiple copies of the same card.

Thank you for stopping by today. If you are interested in more information on any of the products used on the is project, you can find them in my online Stampin' Up! store.

I will return with more new designs to share soon.

Happy Birthday Cake Card

Hello friends. I am back today to share the second of three birthday card designs from my January Birthday Card class. For this card I used the Sale-A-Bration FREE stamp set, Happy Birthday To You. This beautiful birthday cake stamp is colored with water colors on my card. It is then cut out with the matching die - AVAILABLE IN FEBRUARY for purchase.

Sale-A-Bration is an annual Stampin' Up! event in January, February, and March. For each $50 in SU product you purchase, you are eligible to select free merchandise from the Sale-A-Bration selection. AND beginning in February there are coordinating dies to match several of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets. This excites me greatly. I do not enjoy "fancy cutting" so I am always all about those matching dies!

Other products used on the card are Seaside Spray and Whisper White card stock.  I created the stunning background with the Stitched Lacy die set. I also used the oval die and rectangle die.

Thank you for stopping by today. If you are interested in more information on any of the products used on the is project, you can find them in my online Stampin' Up! store.

Birthday Bonanza Card

Hello friends! I am back today to share cards from my January Birthday Card Classes. I offer two birthday card classes each month, one on a weekday evening and one on a Saturday. We make the same cards at both workshops, two cards each of three designs. This is the first design from my January Birthday Card class.

We used Stampin' Up's Birthday Bonanza Bundle to create this card, combined with the Oasis paper. I love this Oasis paper! It is so pretty. And I love how the Oasis paper can make the Bonanza Toucan look like it belongs on an adult birthday card.

The tag die is also included with the Birthday Bonanza Bundle dies. Not only do you get the dies to match the stamps, it is like getting a bonus die with the tag die.

I used Daffodil Yellow, Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo, and Cherry Cobbler card stock. I also used round dies and a rectangular die.

For more information on any of the products used here, visit my Stampin' Up! on-line store.

I will be back to share the other two January birthday cards.

One More Go At This...

Hello friends! Remember back in April and May when I shared that I planned to begin blogging again? "Best-laid plans" would be an adequate description of that scheme. Here it its October and I am trying once again.4

I have been very busy over the last few months with paper crafting, traveling, and most recently, getting injured. I have started hosting card making classes at my home, as well as a monthly get together when our Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin kits arrive. I recently held a Christmas Stampin' Bingo party, which was really great fun!

My plans for the fall include more Birthday Card class (next week), several Christmas Card classes, and a Christmas Tags get together.

Today, in an attempt to ease back into blogging, I am sharing some of the birthday cards created in my classes over the last few months.

My PLAN is to return and share more with you soon.
