Elegant Vellum Floral Card

Hello Stampin' Friends! Today I am going to give you a look at three of the new products available in the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog which releases on May 4. The first is this gorgeous designer series paper - Hand Penned DSP. This set of 12 x 12-inch dsp includes two doubled sided sheets each of six designs. Each sheet has fabulous hand penned and water colored florals on one side and coordinating pastel prints on the reverse. And each of them is stunning!

The next new product(s) featured on this card are the stamps used, both the pretty flowers and the sentiment. The stamps are from the Elegantly Said stamp set. I stamped the flowers on white vellum and embossed them with white embossing powder.

Finally, this card features one of the new In-Colors. The in-colors are five new colors that will be part of the Stampin' Up! array of colors for only two years. The first year they release they are called the new in-colors. The color featured on this card is Soft Succulent. I used both the cardstock and the pretty organza ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back with more new projects to share soon.

Pretty Perennials Thank You

Hello friends, today I am going to share one of my favorite stamp sets. Now we all KNOW when I say "one of my favorites" that I have a plethora of favorites... But I so love this bundle. The flowers are so unique and changeable and the greenery is so fun. And though you cannot see it in my image, the stamp set contains a large lower case "happy" stamp that just makes me, well, happy!

Today's card was made as a special thank you to a special customer. I used colors and elements that I thought she might like. The large flowers are stamped in Blushing Bride while the smaller flowers are stamped in So Saffron. For the stamped leaves I used our Mossy Meadow ink and the Soft Sea Foam. The die cut leaves were cut in Mint Macaron.

For the background I used two products: The Painted Texture 3D embossing folder, to create the spackled wall look, and our fabulous new Blending Brushed, which I used to apple the ombre ink.

The Pretty Perennial Bundle is available as a bundled set at a 10% discount through my online store. You can also order the dies and stamps separately, but why?

Thank you for stopping by today. I will be back soon with another great Stampin' Up! Project!!

Product List

Hints and Previews

Hello friends. Today I have fun news to share with you about the May release of the NEW 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual catalog (wild cheers)! The catalog will release for customer purchases on Tuesday, May 4th. If you placed an order with me in the last 12 months, you will be receiving the new catalog in the mail (more wild cheers)! This will be especially helpful in building your wish list. Today I planning to share two new hints/previews from the new catalog.

Each year Stampin' Up! release five new limited run colors. The new five colors are in the line for only two years. The year the colors release we refer to the new colors as our In-Colors. The 2021-2022 In-Colors are some of my absolute favorites! They are pictured in the photographs above and below. The colors are (in order from the above photo):

Fresh Freesia

Polished Pink

Evening Evergreen

Soft Succulent

Pale Papaya

I am also giving you a sneak peek today of not just the new colors, but also two additional products. In the photo above you see In-Color tags cut with our new tag dies. I LOVE THESE DIES! They include two different styles of tags in four different sizes each! They also include the hole reinforcer circles.

Also pictured above is the soft succulent colored ribbon. This same ribbon is available in all of the new In-Colors!

Finally, my last sneak peek today is the stamped and embossed flowers above. I stamped the flowers onto Stampin' Up! vellum with VersaMark ink and used Stampin' Up! White embossing powder to create the stunning tag front. The flower stamp is from the Elegantly Said Suite of products. Oh, and just wait until you see the punch that coordinates with the stamp set!

Thanks for stopping by for the quick share and peek!

Color Brushed Butterfly Blog Hop

Hello friends, today I am participating in a blog hop hosted by Kylie's Stampin' Up! training program, featuring the Butterfly Bouquet bundle. I have a confession.... Shhhhh.... I am not a butterfly fan, but I LOVE THIS BUNDLE! I have had so much fun trying new techniques and new layouts featuring these beautiful butterflies. I also love the pretty pops of spring that I can add to the butterflies.

To create this card I started with a piece of white cardstock. I used our A-MAZ-ING blending brushes and applied five colors of ink onto the paper in a random pattern. I blended the edges of the inks together, creating a multi-splotched piece of cardstock. I used the individual detailed butterfly dies, placing them on the paper, and cut out my colorful butterflies.

I wanted to use vellum behind the detailed butterflies, but I was all out, except for one little circle (and yes, I did use that). I also wanted to use a Stampin' UP! product. So... I opened my Paper Pumpkin kit box and used the aqua tissue paper and the butterfly outline die to cut the solid backs for my butterflies. They are not quite as transparent as I had hoped, but I was quite happy with them.

The Butterfly Brilliance Bundle is pictured below. It includes a large stamp, which stamps all of the butterflies at once and two sets of dies. The first set of dies is a detailed cut of each butterfly (like my colored butterflies in my project). The second die included is a large outline die that cuts the outline of the stamped butterflies all at once. So you can stamp once and cut once, to create six butterflies (I did this with the tissue paper)!

For my base card I used Bermuda Bay cardstock. I used Coastal Cabana ink and stamped the large butterfly stamp onto Coastal Cabana cardstock to create the tone on tone background. This was affixed to a black matting and attached to the card front. I used stampin' dimensional dots to affix the butterflies to the card front.

Remember that circle of vellum I found? I used that to create an understated sentiment circle. I used a sentiment from the Blooming Blossoms stamp set.

I finished the card with black gems and black ribbon. I thought the black created a nice grounding element with all of the color.

It is Maundy here in the US, and also the day I will be receiving my second "Dr. Fouci Ouchie" - the second shot of my Covid vaccine. I am hoping that by next month I might be able to hold classes in person again!! Yay. I wish you all a blessed Easter!

Sweet Easter Gift Box

Hello friends. Today I am sharing an absolutely adorable Easter box that I plan to fill with sweet goodies for my granddaughter. Is this the sweetest bunny box ever? My granddaughter is six and she will be thrilled with how girly the bunny looks, as well as the adorable little chick.

This precious box was crafted with Stampin' Up! Blushing Bride Cardstock, Stitched dies, and the Springtime Joy stamp set.  I adore this stamp set! The characters and embellishments are so sweet and so feminine. I want to hug the bunny and the lamb. I also added eggs stamped and cut with the Arrange a Wreath bundle.

My has an easel top that reveals the hidden Happy Easter sentiment, and a pull out drawer to hold Easter yummies.

The Springtime Joy stamp sets is available for a limited time only in my online store. This ten-piece stamp set is a must have for your holiday stamp collection.

Blossoms in Bloom Inspiration

Hello friends! Today I am going to share one of my favorite Stampin' Up! Bundles with you: Blossoms in Bloom. This beautiful bundle features seventeen (17!) stamps in the set and six dies. In addition to the flowers, centers, and leaves, the stamp set also includes seven sentiments.

I have truly enjoyed this bundle for making cards, bookmarks, and scrapbook layouts. I also used some of the element on gift boxes. I am going to confess that the card above is a rework of the card pictured below. The card below is still my favorite - it's the colors!

Did I mention scrapbook pages? Yes I did! The page below is one half of a two-page layout I created of my grandchildren using so many Stampin' Up! products, but especially the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle. I love that the blossoms do not overwhelm the photographs.

Did I mention fun cards? Oh yes. The two cards below were the first two cards I created using this bundle. I cut the Blossoms in Bloom die layers in white cardstock, then used out Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blend markers to color the elements. So fun and so colorful.

The card blow is another varied look achieved with the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle. I stamped the background flowers in Bumblebee ink then topped the flowers with white outline die cuts. I love the honey tones of the flowers.

I hope you have enjoyed my overview of the Blossoms in Bloom bundle. It is truly one of my favorite bundles from the annual catalog. To learn more about the bundle check it out at my online store.
