The bird stamp is a two step stamping process. I used two colors of ink, Misty Moonlight and Seaside Spray.
Hello friends, happy July 4th. Apparently I have been sitting on this post for a couple of days - completely unintentionally. I went to pin the photos and found the post had not published.
Today I am sharing another Whiskey Business card - an acrylic card covered in "man" designer series papers and stamping.
The acrylic cards are not a Stampin' Up! product but something I purchased from Amazon (Clear Presentation Cover - 100-Pack Transparent Binding Cover, PVC Report Cover 10-mil, Clear 8.5 x 11 inches). Each sheet provides two cards, just like regular cardstock.
For this card I cut the transparent sheet to be 4.25 x 11 inches, and scored at 5.5 inches (I have a thing for top fold cards). An important thing to remember when using transparent cards is where to hide the adhesive. In this case, I placed the map print matting inside the card, adhered to the front transparent layer, behind the front of the card.
Design Series Paper from World of Good specialty paper was used to make this card also with a gold grid card front from the Forever Gold Laser Cut specialty paper (I adore this pack of paper!). The card was finished with Gilded Gems and diagonal strips of map paper.
The inside of the card is made much like the front, only more simple. I stamped and colored a drink on the inside sheet and adhered it to the transparent card. I then added a matting to the back of the card, facing front, and hid the adhesive inside the layers.
I hope you enjoyed today's card. Supplies used are linked below:
