Hello friends! Today I would like to share two more birthday cards I created for my Stampin' Up! Birthday Card Classes last summer. This duo of cards was created using the Perennial Birthday stamp set.
I offered two different techniques on the cards. In the card above the flowers were stamped with Staz-on black ink, and filled in with water colors. I did experience a slight degree of "black bleed" in spots, but overall i think the card looks fine. For the class I had the students use in on daubers and this worked much better.
In the card below I tried stamping the leaf and berries stamp in a circle. I used a small circle taped to the card front using painters tape and stamped around the circle. I then stamped additional leaves and the floral elements on white cardstock. I fancy cute those and added them to the front of the card using dimensional dots (formerly known as Pop Dots!).
Thank you all for stopping by today. I am off to work on projects for the Aiken Christmas Craft Show.
