St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Brooch/Pin

Hello friends! Welcome to my project for this week's Bitten By the Bug 2 Cricut Challenge. My sweet Design Team sister, Michelle, is hosting this week's Cricut Challenge.  Michelle has instructed us to use the COLOR GREEN on our projects this week.  We can use any Cricut cut of our choosing, but we must include the color GREEN on our projects.  I chose to create a St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Brooch.

I used the same cartridges on this brooch as I used on last week's St. Patrick's Day card, except I did not use Picturesque.  The two cartridges used for this project are Disney Classics - for the clover and flower - and Home for the Holidays Spring & Summer - for the shamrock.

I finished the brooch with white ink splatter and a tiny twist of burlap ribbon.

I hope that you find some time to join us in this week's COLOR CHALLENGE. We would love to see your GREEN projects!

And speaking of GREEN, no matter what color outfit I might choose to wear on St. Patrick's Day, no one will be able to pinch me as long as I have on my St. Patty's brooch!!

  1. What a great idea, on the brooch. This really looks fabulous on your shirt! The shamrock's and flower are so pretty!

  2. I was working on St. Pats and had to dig hard to find a green tee to wear under my scrubs! I could have used your St Paddys brooch, lol! Love this and had no idea the Disney classic cartridge had a clover!
