Let's Flirt St. Valentine Card

Hello friends! Welcome to my project for this week's Bitten By the Bug 2 Cricut Challenge. Emily, my totally sweet design team sister selected this week's challenge theme - Valentine's Anything Goes!  That means you can use any Cricut cut you would like to create a St. Valentine project to share with us at Bitten by the Bug 2.

I used one of the Cricut Make it Now projects for my card this week.  But being me, I had to make a couple of changes to the project (because I am all about customizing).  This Valentine uses two cartridges - Mickey Love at First Sight and Basic Shapes.

The card actually exists on the Mickey Love At First Sight cartridge.  I took the card and added a lace effect to the edge of the white heart. I also changed some layer colors.

I really like the sentiment, Let's Flirt, and thought this would be a perfect Valentine card for my husband.  I think it is fun to flirt with my spouse, even after 36 years of marriage. We sometimes flirt on the computer by commenting on one another's posts, repeatedly with exchanges.  We had a back and forth going in comments one day when a friend popped in on the thread and asked if we were on two different computers in the same house while carrying on the exchange.  She laughed when we told her that indeed we were.

Have you been by the Bitten By the Bug 2 blog today? The design team has created some adorable St. Valentine projects using their Cricut machines.  You should go take a look, then join us at BBTB2 with your Anything Goes Valentine project!

  1. I love how you customized this pretty heart. I have been admiring this image, so cute. How sweet to flirt back and forth on your computers!

  2. I love it, but my favorite part is the plaid heart! Keep flirting!

  3. I hope my hubby and I are still flirting when we hit 36 years-you are an inspiration!!!! This card is full of sweetness, just like your relationship!!!! And of course you had to customize it, lol!!! You always put your special touch on all your projects!

  4. I have never seen the sentiment on a card but it’s perfect. I knew in an instant was for, if it wasn’t, I don’t know you very well. Wonderful card. Happy Valentine’s Day
