A Blessing Coming Our Way

Hello friends! I have had a busy crafting week, which makes me so very happy.  Of the several projects I crafted, I thought you might enjoy this adorable "It's A Girl" card made using Heartfelt Creations Sweet Lullaby Collection.

This card is especially close to my heart today as it affords me the opportunity to share some wonderful news with you - Doug and I are going to be grandparents to a sweet baby girl sometime next year!!! Bethany and John are expecting our first grandchild and we are all thrilled!

To create this card you will need three Heartfelt Creations (HFC) products:
Sweet Lullaby Paper Collection
HCPC 3605 Sweet Lullaby Sentiment Stamp
HCD 746 Sweet Lullaby Die
Other products used:
Spellbinders lace die – retired, Pink seam binding ribbon, White card stock, Pink Card stock, Pearls, Pink Ink, 1 Inch circle punch, Grand Calibur, Stylus and foam mat set, Glitter Art Glue, and Pop dots.

Using white card stock and the Sweet Lullaby carriage and wheel dies, use your die cut machine and cut the baby carriage.  Assemble the carriage with Glitter Art Glue.  Using a tapestry needle thread the seam binding ribbon through the edges of the carriage top and middle sections.  Add a bow.

Using pink card stock and the flower dies from the Sweet Lullaby die set, cut four flowers.  Use the stylus and foam mat to the shape the petals.

Use pink ink stamp “It’s a Girl” using the Sweet Lullaby Sentiment Stamp onto white card stock.  Cut out the sentiment with a one inch circle punch.

Cut the Spellbinder lace edge using white card stock.

Find the bracket image card front in the Sweet Lullaby paper collection.  From the same paper collection, cut a piece of green and white print 6.75 inches x 4.5 inches.  Glue the Spellbinder lace behind the bracket card image, then glue both pieces centered on the green and white print.  Find a pink and white lace paper.  Cut a 4.25 x 4.25 square and glue behind the upper left corner of the green print, leaving 3/8th inch border.

Using pop dots attach the carriage to the front middle of the card.  Attach the flowers and add pearl centers.  Place the entire card front onto a white card.

Thanks for dropping by today.  I will be back on Monday with the weekly Bitten By the Bug 2 Design Team challenge.  Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!!
