Hello everyone. I am back with another project featuring Art Philosophy roses - my Easter Wishes card. This card was created with two Cricut cartridges - Kate's ABC's and Art Philosophy - and the Couture Creations embossing folder I used on Tuesday.
I began with basic light pink cardstock from my stash and using the embossing folder I embossed the front of the card. I traced the side "ribbon" area of the folder onto the diamond pattern cardstock, cut out and glued the diamond cardstock onto the card front. I measured the tag shape area in the middle of the embossing folder and created a tag very close in size and shape and cut out the white tag shape with my Cricut.
Using Kate's ABC's I cut this sweet Bunny scene and glued the pieces onto the white tag. I used a Close To My Heart stamp and ink to stamp the Easter Wishes sentiment onto the card.
I cut two roses with print cardstock from my stash, rolled and attached the roses to the edge of the Bunny scene. I love the simplicity of this card and think that my mom will also like it.
I had hoped to share a different project with you today. However that specific project will have to be shared at a later date as I spent all day yesterday dealing with a kidney stone. I awoke at 5:00 am in pain. After nearly passing out around 6:00 am I asked Bethany (who was up and getting ready for school) to wake Doug. Doug was a wonderful slave-boy/nurse for most of the day. By bedtime I was feeling much better, just a mild backache remained.
I have had two previous kidney stones, but both could be traced to dehydration over the last 11 years. I am hoping that this evil girl was also due to dehydration and that this does NOT become a way of life. Thank goodness for better living through chemistry - a nice pain killer prescription!
I will be back tomorrow with another new project to share - with roses. Thanks for stopping by today.
