Winter Window

Hello everyone!  It's Monday and that means it is time for the weekly Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge!!    The challenge cut of the week is a SNOWMAN.  The design team had to use a snowman on their wintry projects.  We have actually had some chilly weather her in SC, though no snow in our area.  However, as I type this I do have the fireplace on warming the room!  Brrrrr, it's cold outside!

There are so many great snowmen on various Cricut cartridges, but one of my favorites has always been the sweet snowman on the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.  This snowman is simple but just so cute.   I cut the snowman at 3.5 inches tall.    The snowman is sitting on the steps of the side-step card.  He is attached to the piles of snow outside the window.

Inside her home where she is nice and warm in her pink jacket and fuzzy hat is my Dilly Beans Image - Warm Winter Wishes Noah Framed (okay so she is really a he, but whatever)....  Noah is looking through the window at the wonderful snowman in the yard.  The window was cut from the Christmas Noel Cartridge.

This view from the top gives you some idea how I assembled this card.  The Dilly Beans image is on the left, non-stepped, side of the card.  On the right side the snowman is sitting back on the fold in the card where there are pop dotted snow layers.  I affixed the window to the front edge of the card so that it is "inside" with Noah.

I finished the card with ribbon from my stash to match the plaid paper and and fur on Noah's hat.

At Bitten by the Bug 2 we absolutely love it when you join us in our weekly challenges.  Use a snowman from any Cricut cartridge to create your project.  Use the Linky under the snowman post on BBTB2 to add your project to BBTB2.  One winner will be selected next week and the winner will receive our "I am a Project of the Week winner at BBTB2" button for their blog. The BBTB2 rules are posted on the blog sidebar.   For more inspiration be sure to check the design team projects at BBTB2.

Thanks for stopping by today.
