My Saturday at Everyday Cricut

Hello scrappers, happy Saturday.   I love the third Saturday of the month because those AWESOME ladies at Everyday Cricut (woot, woot for Joy and Melanie!) allow me to contribute to their blog.  And this month's project for Everyday Cricut ties into my blog party 200K celebration:  I used the Halloween cuts from HOLIDAY CAKES!  I wanted to show those of you who might need some ideas that the cake cartridges are not just about fondant and gum paste cutting! Go over to Everyday Cricut to get more details and see more photos of the layout.  Also you can register for their weekly giveaways (hint, hint).

Remember that if you have not already registered for my blog candy give away, you still have time.   The drawing will be tomorrow (Sunday) after I return home from a scrapping weekend at the lake.  I love spending time with girlfriends!

To register to win you will need to do two things:  become a blog follower and drop down to the BLOG PARTY post and leave a comment telling me what you would plan as a first project using Holiday Cakes.

Love your layout. I would like the cartridge so I could play with the images and make some cards or layout for my grandchildren.

Super fabulous LO, Susan. Wonderful job highlighting the everyday usefulness of a cake cartridge. I think a lot of Cricut users are just skipping over those cartridges thinking they can't use them for cards or LO.

I never would have considered the Cake Carts without ideas like this one to show me that even those of us that don't cook can bake up some great (paper) projects. Thank you so much for sharing!

Great LO. Never knew this cartridge could have so many cute cuts. Thanks for sharing!

So cute! I would use the cartridge to do create the theme for a Halloween party. Then the food, the decorations and even the scrapbook pages later, can all use the same theme! What a wonderful crafting world we live in!

Awesome use of the cake cartidge with this layout. I don't have a cricut cake so I never thought about purchasing the carts for paper crafting. This gives me the push I need to look into possibly purchasing a cart in the future. I love halloween but have trouble creating layouts, this cart would be perfect for getting those creative juices going....thanks for the great ideas
